Poetry and mathematics might seem worlds apart, but both offer profound ways to understand and express the human experience. As someone who is passionate about both literature and math, I find joy in the blend of creativity and structure they each offer. Recognizing the importance of diverse forms of expression, I noticed there were few opportunities for poets to share their craft. This realization led me to join the effort to revive Colombo Poets in 2024. It’s been fulfilling to help create a space where poets can express their art and connect with others who appreciate the power of words.
