Being an avid sports woman and reader, I really admire the power held by literature. My mission is to amplify the essence of spoken-word poetry within our community. The Colombo poets aim is to serve a vibrant platform for individuals to not only showcase their diverse talents but also to embrace the magic of literature and artistry. With a deep-seated commitment to cultivating a thriving literary culture, I wholeheartedly believe that this event contributes to our collective appreciation of the written and spoken word.

In my role, I am dedicated to creating an inclusive society where literary enthusiasts of all backgrounds; whether they’re passionate writers, mesmerising performers, or passionate listeners, can unite in celebration of this increasingly popular form of self-expression.
